Sony Xperia LT29i Surface, Looks Impressive – Review

The Xperia LT29i surface would look like impressive. It is all glass from the front with no capacitive buttons. In its place you find on screen buttons just like the Galaxy Nexus. The back side of the phone is quite plain but appears to rubberize coating of sorts. So we feel very good in holding the phone.

The side profile reveals the design ‘arc’ tat was supposed back then. The phone’s thickness is actually measured just 8.6mm and weighs just around 127g. So it is slim and light in appearance. The prototype is amazing it is a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 SoC. This comprises a dual core Krait CPU with 1.5GHz.

Sony continues to collect the S4 in the retail units. It is entirely depends if Qualcomm can sort out the shortage of S4 chips. Except, we may see the phone begins with a different SoC, perhaps a NovaThor-based chipset. With Android 4.0.4 on board, the phone also appears to be rocking a little different version of Timescape. This now includes a task switcher. The notification bar also appears pinched a bit. A new one also includes floating widgets. This is according to the video can use in the menus as well.

The important thing in the show however is the 13MP camera; it appears to be doing its job well for a prototype phone. The phone will have a removable battery 1700mAh and along with a MicroSD card slot. Rumor in phone is expected to launch in time for Diwali.
